What is Place Studies?

Place studies is just as the name states. It is the study of a "Place", or region with historical and emotional value. Bringing together the skills of various departments in both the sciences and humanities, the Place Studies Initiative acts as an opportunity for faculty and students to explore and learn about a place important to them as community members of the Susquehanna Valley.
